As the Procurement Coordinator, you will carry out all tasks allocated by the manager, which may include conducting research on potential vendors and suppliers, inspecting goods, and updating records.
You should be able to negotiate pricing and transport costs.
To be successful as a Procurement Coordinator you should be able to multitask and evaluate products and vendors.
Exceptional purchasing officers should be smooth negotiators with a keen eye for detail.
Essential Job Duties Contact vendors of any product increase Purchases goods and services according to the company's policies and procedures.
Coordinates with warehouse associate to maintain inventory levels.
Evaluates vendors based on price, reliability, capability, and previous transaction history.
Works with vendors to negotiate volume and cash transaction discounts, and other available discounts.
Also bill customers.
Ensures that purchasing documents are complete and accurate and include appropriate and reasonable terms and conditions.
Maintains pricing histories and other vendor records.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Receive credits from vendors for accounts payable.
Process customer invoices and bill.
Skills and Experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven negotiation skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite or related software.
Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
SAP Supervisory Responsibilities None Education High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's Degree or similar concentration preferred.
Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
