We need detail oriented, hardworking, and reliable team members that will help us achieve our ambitions.
Job Responsibilities --- (what you'll be doing) You must have good attendance, 95% or better, outside of your allotted vacation and sick time.
You'll be performing first articles in-process inspections, maintaining good quality records of all test data.
Direct machinist or other personnel on all issues pertaining to quality requirements.
Assures any non-conforming material or parts are properly identified, removed, destroyed and or separated in accordance with various customer demands and the (MRB).
Maintaining lot traceability.
Contacting customers, whenever necessary with clear and adequate information in a timely manner.
Conducting internal audits to guarantee compliance.
Ensures work is completed in accordance with departmental documentation.
Re-evaluate defected parts as required to determine if they can be repaired, rejected, or submitted.
Operating the CMM's and interpreting the data given.
Ensure that all work is done in accordance with ITAR and ISO 9001:
2015 rules and regulations.
Maintain our gauge track system, ensuring or calibration records are up to date.
Identify ways to improve the inspection process and report them to the QC manager or upper personnel.
Submitting final paperwork to customers.
Keep records and reports up to date Improving your current skills and developing new ones to move up in the quality department.
Performing other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications --- (skills, abilities, and experience) Knowledge of Aerospace hardware specifications, coating/processes, assemblies, etc.
Familiar with set-up and operation of coordinate measuring machines.
Working knowledge of (GDT) Geometrical Dimensional Tolerancing ASME Y14.

Highly proficient in understanding complex mechanical drawings.
High School Diploma or GED At least two full years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
Computer knowledge required (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
) Knowledge of E2 Shop System (not a requirement) (Physical Requirements) Ability to stand for entire shift if necessary Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Able to stand, kneel, duck, walk, run, sit, and lift.

Ability to visually identify color defects, dings and scratches, and to adjust coarse and fine adjustments on an optical comparator.
